This legacy was carried forward by Shri Inder Kumar Agarwal, son of Shri Arjan Dass Agarwal — a pioneer in the steel industry in Eastern India. From its humble origins as a small trading concern, Arjan Dass & Sons has grown into a fully integrated manufacturing facility and is today one of the leading importers, exporters, and suppliers of steel in Eastern India, under the leadership of Mr. Sandip Kumar Agarwal. Manufacturing of steel with with very low content of impurity elements such as phosphorus, sulfur, total oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, residual elements (Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Cr, Bi, Sn, Sb) and inclusions. Our Vacuum Degassing Unit reduces detrimental dissolved gases especially hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen, reduces dissolved carbon to improve ductility; and promotes preferential oxidation of dissolved carbon over chromium when refining stainless steel grades.
